The village of Holt with its two pubs, a delicatessen a lovely cafe, The Glove Factory, is in easy walking distance. The city of Bath with its many attractions is 10 miles (20 minutes) away and the lovely town of Bradford on Avon is within easy driving distance, as are Great Chalfield Manor, Lacock Village, Castle Combe village and golf, and Stourhead House and Gardens. Thurles is a privately owned family home with a spacious cottage garden to relax in.Room 1 has a double bed, overlooking the garden, with a basin, with the bathroom (with shower) next door.Room 2 has a double bed, overlooking the courtyard at the back of the house and access to a family bathroom through the house.WiFi is also available for business use.Customers to pay by cash on arrival

Directions

From Junction 18 off the M4, Bath, take the A46 towards Bath and follow the bypass towards Trowbridge. Take the A363 to Bradford on Avon and take the left fork in the road at Cumberwell Golf Course onto the B3105. Head through the village of Woolley Green and at the end of that road turn left at the staggered cross road junction onto the B3107. 500 yards later, just past the Tollgate Inn, turn right into Ham Green. Drive another 500 yards through the Green and with St Katherine's Church on your left turn immediately left onto a gravel drive. Thurles is 200 yards further down at the end of that drive.From Reading, M4, (45 minutes) take Junction 17, Chippenham, follow the A350 to Melksham, then take the 3rd exit at the roundabout in Melksham onto the B3107, signposted Holt Bradford on Avon. Drive through most of the village of Holt looking for the Ham Tree pub on your right. Turn left there into Ham Green. Drive another 500 yards through the Green and with St Katherine's Church on your left turn immediately left onto a gravel drive. Thurles is 200 yards further down at the end of that drive.
